Résumé : |
The policy analyst for Transform Drug Policy Foundation reacts to new figures from the Office for National Statistics showing that drug poisoning deaths in England and Wales are at a record high, with the number of deaths from opioid poisoning doubling in three years.
"The government has been claiming for a long time that its drug policy is successful, because overall levels of drug use are dropping. But most of the drop is down to the fall in cannabis use, which is not associated with drug related deaths." [Extract] |
