ENGLISH : The Texas Commission on Alcohol and Drug Use (TCADA) provides educational materials on substance use; develops prevention, intervention, and treatment programs; and conducts studies on the problems of substance use in Texas. The following article summarizes the TCADA report, Fry: A Study of Adolescents Use of Embalming Fluid with Marijuana and Tobacco, released in February 1998, that describes its interviews of 20 Houston adolescents regarding the use of fry. Fry is a generic term referring to marijuana cigarettes, marijuana-laced cigars, or tobacco cigarettes or cigars soaked in embalming fluid that may contain phencyclidine (PCP). |
