FRANÇAIS : Cette étude a été réalisée sur un échantillon de 602 étudiants (médecins, infirmiers, physiothérapeutes) au cours de l'année scolaire 1992-93. Le pourcentage de sujets ayant fumé une fois dans leur vie était de 62% parmi lesquels 21.9% fumaient régulièrement. Les drogues consommées dans le mois précédant l'étude étaient l'alcool (62.8%), le cannabis (3.7%), les tranquillisants (2.7%), les amphétamines (0.3%). Le pourcentage de femmes fumeuses était supérieur à celui des hommes, en revanche, concernant l'usage d'autres substances, les hommes arrivaient en tête. La consommation d'alcool, de cannabis et de cocaïne était supérieure chez les élèves en physiothérapie par rapport aux médecins et aux infirmiers. ENGLISH : In 1992-93, a study on the consumption of tobacco, alcohol and other substances carried out in 602 Health Sciences students (Medicine, Nursing and Physiotherapy) from the Oviedo's University. The smokers rate sometime in the life was 62%, and also there was a 21.9% of daily smokers. Substances used during the month before the survey included alcohol (62.8%), cannabis (3.7%), tranquilizers (2.7%), amphetamines (0.3%), volatile substances (0.3%), hallucinogenic substances (0.3%) and opiates (0.3%). The rate of females smokers was higher than males smokers, but the other substances consumption was higher between males. The alcohol, cannabis and cocaine use was also higher between the Physiotherapy students with respect to the Medical and Nursing students. (Authors' abstract) |
