ENGLISH : The objective of this research was: "to review attitudes, policies and practices in relation to cannabis and cannabis laws within South Australia among law enforcement and criminal justice personnel". Consultants were aware that other parts of the project would review statistical data on the issuing of cannabis expiation notices, and would assess the extent to which this system had enabled cost savings. The present study therefore concentrated on assessing police and other criminal justice attitudes toward the Cannabis Expiation Notice (CEN) system, and documenting their experience in putting it into effect.
