Résumé : |
This publication aims at providing guidance to policy makers and officials of relevant institutions to ensure that the health policy in prisons is integrated into, and compatible with, national health policy.
The Council of Europe publication "Prison Health Care and Medical Ethics" - a manual for health care workers and other prison staff with responsibility for prisoners' well-being, can be referred to, as a complementary guide with practical information regarding provision of health care in prison. These Guidelines are a result of a multilateral meeting on organisation and management of prison health care, held in Strasbourg in October 2017, as part of the Council of Europe co-operation activities in the penitentiary field, implemented by the Criminal Law Co-operation Unit. |
