ENGLISH: This article presents a decade of public health action in France led by the Institut de promotion de la prévention secondaire en addictologie (IPPSA) among national education care personnel to diffuse a strategy associating identification by the DEP-ADO and brief motivational interventions for adolescents in school. This initiative is composed of a series of action-oriented research on adapting the French context to two strategies: (1) training in identification and interventions in secondary schools and (2) an association between primary care practitioners (basically school nurses) and specialized entities (young consumer consultations). The results demonstrate the interest of the persons trained and the general acceptability for the youth, but remain limited in terms of long term effect. The discussion covers the need to maintain mobilization of primary care for the identification, intervention and orientation. |
