Résumé : |
Support for plain cigarette packaging increased significantly among Australian smokers after legislation came into force, researchers have shown.
Australia brought in plain packaging of tobacco products on 1 December 2012. The new law prohibited the presence of branding and trademarks on packs except for the brand name in a standard font. The packs are a drab olive brown colour, and the text is light grey. The packs are not actually plain, however, as large graphic warning labels cover most of the surface. [Extract] |
