La période qui suit immédiatement l'arrêt de l'alcool chez les personnes dépendantes de l'alcool peut être marquée par diverses complications dont la plus connue est le syndrome de sevrage. La prise en charge thérapeutique du sevrage a pour but de limiter sa gravité, de prévenir ses complications et d'assurer une transition vers l'accompagnement dans l'abstinence. Une attitude ciblée autour de l'évaluation du syndrome de sevrage et des facteurs de risques est efficace pour en limiter les complications. Le sevrage peut être réalisé en ambulatoire ou à l'hôpital selon des modalités légèrement différentes, avec des ind1cations spécifiques pour l'hospitalisation. La préférence du patient intervient souvent de façon déterminante dans le choix de la méthode. Surveillance clinique attentive, benzodiazépines, hydratation et vitaminothérapie sont les bases d'un sevrage alcoolique réussi. ENGLISH: The period immediately after breaking alcohol for alcohol dependent patients is marked by several pathologies troubles like withdrawal syndrome. Taking charge therapeutic of withdrawal is made to limit the severity of this withdrawal syndrome to prevent complications and guarantee a transition toward an accompaniment in abstinence. An attitude based on measuring the withdrawal syndrome and risk factors is effective to limit eventual complications. The detoxification can be realised in ambulatory or in hospital depending on different modes, with specifies indications for hospitalization. The patient preference intervenes often in the mode of choice for the method. An attentive surveillance clinical, benzodiazepine, hydration and vitamin therapy are essential for good alcohol withdrawal. |
