Résumé :
This briefing focuses on recent [2002-2004] government sponsored research on drug prevention among vulnerable groups of young people, and considers how this relates to current government policy and guidance. This forms part of a complete review of all recent evidence derived from government sponsored drug prevention work to be published by the National Collaborating Centre for Drug Prevention at the end of 2005. Different government departments and bodies have published distinct research on these populations, and it is the aim of this review to synthesise these findings in order to provide evidence based recommendations and to highlight gaps in research which require attention. The review process has proceeded in accordance with established National Institute for Health and Clinical Excellence [NICE] protocols. (Extract of the publication)
