On compare les caractéristiques sociodémographiques, toxicologiques et psychopathologiques de 22 toxicomanes à la buprenorphine et 45 toxicomanes à l'héroine admis en cure de désintoxication. Bien que les premiers soient plus âgés, aucune différence clinique significative n'a été établie. La disponibilité de la buprenorphine est la principale raison de son abus toxicomaniaque. ENGLISH : Sociodemographic, toxicologic, and psychopathologic characteristics of 22 buprenorphine addicts and 45 heroin addicts admitted for inpatient detoxification were compared. Although the buprenorphine addicts were older, clinically significant differences were not apparent. The availability of buprenorphine may be the main reason for its abuse.(Author's abstract) |
