ENGLISH : Get It While You Can was set up to make best use of the "window of opportunity" between the arrest and final court appearance of drugusing arrestees. The primary aim is to provide information on local services and to dispel myths. Its success has been demonstrated locally and replicated nationally, and here the author provides a guide of what to be aware of when considering setting-up a similar arrest referral scheme locally.
