Le titre même de l'article situe le contexte et l'objectif que se sont fixés les auteurs, médecins de prévention et alcoologues. La campagne de prévention du risque alcool conçue pour le personnel communal d'une grande ville du Val-de-Marne est constituée de trois étapes : la première, la plus longue, est la phase de sensibilisation et d'information sur le risque alcool et la maladie alcoolique, la seconde sera celle de la formation d'animateurs locaux, la dernière enfin, celle de la rédaction d'une charte interne ayant valeur de règlement intérieur. Les résultats préliminaires de cette campagne, dont la première étape touche à sa fin, sont encourageants comme en témoignent le taux important de participation des agents aux séances de prévention (> 50%) et le grand nombre d'agents malades (40) qui ont ainsi osé sortir de leur silence en demandant spontanément une aide médicale à leur médecin du travail. (Résumé d'auteur) ENGLISH : The title of the article situates the context and objectives set by the authors, prevention physicians and alcohologists. The alcohol risk prevention campaign designed for municipal employees in a large town in the Val-de-Marne consisted of three steps: the first and longest step was the phase of awareness and information about the risks of alcohol and alcoholic disease, the second phase will consist of training of local orga- nizers, and the third phase will establish an internal charter constituting internal regulations. The preliminary results of this campaign, the first phase of which has almost been completed, are encouraging, as reflected by the high participation rate of employees at the prevention sessions (> 50 %) and the large number of alcoholic employees (40) who dared to break their silence by spontaneously asking for medical assistance from their occupational health physician.
