FRANÇAIS : Cette étude avait pour objectifs d'étudier la faisabilité de la détection de la consommation de drogues ou de produits détournés de leur usage lors d'une consultation de médecine de ville et de décrire les stratégies d'interrogatoire spontanément utilisées par les médecins. Un dixième de la clientèle des 15-25 ans des 26 médecins participants, en majorité des hommes consultant pour motif d'ordre psychologique, a présenté un signe "d'alerte" et fait l'objet de la détection. Les médecins ont souvent choisi d'aborder directement le problème de drogue et ont détecté une consommation dans deux tiers des cas. Il s'agissait le plus souvent de cannabis, mais la consommation de psychotropes avec de l'alcool concernait un tiers des sujets interrogés. Par contre, une certaine frustration a été ressentie par les médecins du fait de la difficulté d'aborder les problèmes de fond, d'envisager un suivi psychothérapeutique. (Résumé de la revue) ENGLISH : The objective of this work is to study the feasibility of the detection of drug use or misused substances during a visit with a municipal doctor, and to describe the interrogatory strategies used spontaneously by doctors. One tenth of the clients aged 15-25 of the 26 participating doctors, (the majority of them men visiting the doctor for a psychological problem), showed a "warning" signal and were detected. The doctors often chose to approach the problem of drugs directly and detected usage in two-thirds of the cases. Cannabis was most often concerned, but the use of psychotropic drugs with alcohol was the case in one-third of the subjects interrogated. On the other hand, a certain frustration was felt by the doctors because of the difficulty of approaching the root problems and of acquiring psychotherapeutic monitoring. (Review' s abstract) |
