Résumé :
This document aims to provide guidelines and support to the Member States of the WHO European Region in strengthening protection from exposure to tobacco smoke at the workplace. It is the third publication in the series of policy documents following the adoption of the European Strategy for Tobacco Control. Its overall objective is to provide national policy-makers, health system administrators, professionals and nongovernmental organizations with easily accessible arguments and with a review of legislative tools and options in support of smoke-free workplaces, including the hospitality sector. The document also aims to provide a cross-country analysis of legislation that, in itself, is expected to help raise awareness and motivation for stronger policies and actions. (Authors' abstract)
