L'article analyse l'origine et la dynamique psychique de l'addiction au jeu d'argent à partir du concept de ravissement, à la fois extase et capture. Le « gain marquant » agit comme une expérience fondatrice, quasi mystique, conférant au joueur une illusion de toute-puissance et de légitimation existentielle. Mais ce moment de grâce se transforme en captivité : le joueur cherche sans fin à reproduire cette jouissance première. L'auteur mobilise plusieurs lectures psychanalytiques - masochisme moral, dette symbolique, « trop-perçu » - pour comprendre cette répétition pathologique où perte, culpabilité et quête de sens se confondent. This article analyzes the origin and psychological dynamics of gambling addiction based on the concept of rapture, in the sense of both ecstasy and captivity. The “big win” acts as a founding, almost mystical experience, giving the gambler an illusion of omnipotence and existential legitimacy. But this moment of grace turns into captivity: The gambler endlessly seeks to reproduce this initial jouissance. The author draws on several psychoanalytic interpretations - moral masochism, symbolic debt, "overpayment" - to understand this pathological repetition in which loss, guilt, and the search for meaning become intertwined.
