Les auteurs décrivent l'histoire du cannabidiol, depuis sa découverte par Adams en 1940, jusqu’à la vulgarisation actuelle de son usage. Sa place et ses fonctions par rapport aux autres cannabinoïdes sont discutées ainsi que ses indications thérapeutiques potentielles. La notion de bien-être, telle qu'elle se manifeste à travers les usages sociaux de cette molécule, sous la forme d’une ivresse subjective, est analysée et mise en rapport avec son intérêt clinique. ENGLISH:
The authors describe the history of cannabidiol, from its discovery by Adams in 1940 to the current popularization of its use. Its place and functions in relation to other cannabinoids are discussed as well as its potential therapeutic indications. The notion of well-being, as manifested through a subjective altered state of mind as well as the social uses of this molecule is analysed and related to its clinical interest. [Editor's abstract]
