L'analyse de l'épidémiologie des conduites addictives a mis en évidence des spécificités féminines, qui concernent tant les comportements de consommation des produits que les comorbidités et la mortalité. L'éducation thérapeutique est une prise en charge transversale centrée sur la patiente. L'éducation thérapeutique des femmes dépendantes doit pouvoir s'appuyer sur une approche prenant en compte toutes les singularités médico-psychosociales féminines et périnatales. [Résumé d'auteur]

Analysis of the epidemiology of addictive behaviours has highlighted the specific characteristics of women in terms of drug use, co-morbidity and mortality. Therapeutic education is a cross-disciplinary approach centered on the patient. Therapeutic education for women addicts must be based on an approach that considers all the specific medical, psychological, and social aspects of women and the perinatal period. [Authors' abstract]
