Thanks to their proximity to their patients, in terms of territory, time and people, pharmacists have many opportunities to support them in their efforts to stop smoking. The therapeutic alliance is the starting point for support, and availability is an important factor. It is essential to explain the treatment and to present the available aids, in order to increase the chances of success.
