Résumé :
The report highlights the latest developments and challenges posed by synthetic drugs, in particular amphetamine-type stimulants (ATS) and new psychoactive substances including potent synthetic opioids, in East and Southeast Asia. It confirms the synthetic drug market in East and Southeast Asia has proven highly resilient to the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic, with production and trafficking surging again in 2020. The findings of this report are based on primary information submitted by the drug control agencies and designated institutions.
