The Global SMART Update is designed to provide regular brief reports on emerging patterns and trends of the global synthetic drug situation.
The special segment of this current issue analyses the legislative responses taken by the international community to address the challenge of NPS in view of protecting public health. It reviews existing legislation to control NPS and explores how countries have introduced new legislation to address this problem.
