May 2014 saw the launch of the European drug report (EDR), the European Monitoring Centre for Drugs and Drug Addiction's (EMCDDAs) annual review of the European drug market, incorporating trend analysis, topic overviews, statistical data and individual country information. This article presents highlights from the report, which can be accessed in full at: www.emcdda.europa.eu.
