The use of synthetic or designer drug has increased among youth in the past couple of years, and it is still on the rise. We recently have reported about the associated health complications of these drugs and have tried to raise awareness to the public […].
Unfortunately, this year's event at the Electric Zoo festival was overshadowed by 2 deaths among other complications […]. In addition, there were 5 admissions to intensive care unit. One underage girl was evaluated for possible rape. This year's event was terminated ahead of schedule by the city because of mortalities and other concerns on Sunday; otherwise, the death toll and other complications from the drug use may have increased.
