Résumé :
The public health professionals of the 15 countries of the European Union have agreed that alcohol must be considered a major public health priority.
The measures implemented by the various governments to fight this problem are very different.
Thus, this document presents information gathered by the French Society of Public Health on the many aspects of actions initiated by governments, non-governmental organizations, and the industrial sector.
The report represents an initial presentation, which must be completed and up-dated. We hope that readers will provide additional data to help make this document increasingly useful for ail professionals involved in prevention. [Extract of the introduction]
