Résumé :
Ce symposium a été l'occasion pour Gabriel Britto et Molly Charles, experts et chercheurs en toxicomanie à Bombay, d'exposer la situation du continent indien face aux drogues et d'en retracer l'histoire des consommations et des usages qui ont été profondément changés au fur et à mesure des réglementations nationales et internationales. Les communications ont eu pour thèmes : la corruption et le blanchiment d'argent sale opposé aux politiques de développement du Brésil et particulièrement en Amazonie, le cannabis au Lesotho, les réseaux de trafiquants à Rio et à Mexico, les drogues illicites au Gujarat. Une abondante bibliographie invite à d'autres lectures.
