This new edition of World Drink Trends includes data for spirits, beer and wine for 2002. The content of World Drink Trends is updated annually with the most recent data on alcohol consumption in 58 countries and for 70% of the global population. The ranking by the level of alcohol consumed in a country is calculated by the consumption volume per capita which does not always reflect the 'actual' level of consumption for a variety of reasons, for example, cross-border consumption.
