Résumé :
Education is a much-used tool in the prevention of alcohol problems. It exists in a variety of forms and contexts, and is aimed at a broad range of target audiences. While there are many formal applications of alcohol education, much of it is informal. It could be argued that an individuals alcohol education encompasses all of the alcohol-related experiences of a lifetime. However, there is considerable debate over whether alcohol education is an effective approach to preventing problems that may arise from certain drinking patterns and whether it can be viewed in isolation from other policy and prevention measures.
