Résumé :
This paper examines the relationship between drug use and violence among representative samples of students in the U.S. and Ontario, Canada. What makes this examination important is that both drug use and violence peak in the late teenage years, but while youth in both countries display similar levels of drug use, Canadian youth report much less violence. Logistic regression analyses show that drug use is a major correlate of violence, but his relationship is more robust in Ontario than in the U.S. (Author' s abstract)
