Résumé :
This model law resource is designed to inform and assist policy-makers and advocates as they approach the task of reforming or making laws to meet the legal challenges posed by the HIV epidemic among people who use drugs. Module 6 contains a prefatory note which discusses the rationale for reforming laws to enable outreach programs directed towards people who use drugs and to ensure that these programs can incorporate harm reduction approaches. The prefatory note describes the relevant international laws and policies, including human rights obligations. This is followed by a section on model statutory provisions. Module 6 concludes with a list of recommended resources. (Editor's abstract)
