L'auteur aborde les mécanismes d'action des différentes benzodiazepines d'un point de vue pharmacocinétique et pharmacodynamique et examine les corrélations possibles avec leur type d'action. Les principaux effets secondaires des benzodiazepines sont ensuite décrits et étudiés.
ENGLISH :
The author uses available scientific literature as a basis for giving a pharmacodynamics and pharmacokinetics vue on the actions of the various benzodiazepines and to examine the possible correlations with such actions. The main benzodiazepine side effects are then described, and analysed relative to their incidence, the determining factors and, in the case of withdrawal, the treatment. (Author's abstract)
