ENGLISH :
Of the many problems to emerge in exploring the long-term effects of drug abuse, one of the first is that of separating acute drug effects and withdrawal effects from underlying, nondrug conditions. One of the most vexing methodological difficulties is that of finding proper controls. Nonetheless, in spite of the complex methodological problems that are part of studying this difficult area, studies have been done that provide interesting data leading to future research.
