Cette recherche, effectuée auprès de 153 patients admis en désintoxication âgés de 28 ans et ayant eu une scolarité de 11,4 ans en moyenne. Deux types de facteurs ont été mis en corrélation portant sur la dépression, la déviance sociale, l'auto-défense, l'aliénation mentale et d'autre part les capacités expressives.
ENGLISH :
A principal components analysis of responses to the Psychological Screening Inventory from a sample of substance abusers was conducted. Subjects were 153 inpatients admitted to a midwestern program for chemical dependency treatment. Means for age and education were 28 yr. and 11.4, respectively. Analysis indicated that a two-factor solution best described these data. Factor 1 reflected over-all maladjustment, while Factor 2 was a measure of extroversion. Clinical utility of the inventory was discussed. (Author's abstract)
