Sur 260 jeunes hospitalisés en psychiatrie où le premier diagnostic établi est psychiatrique, un pourcentage non négligeable d'adolescents présente un problème co-existant d'abus de produit. Un programme spécifique est élaboré.
ENGLISH :
The nature and extent of substance abuse problems among 260 youth consecutively admitted to an adolescent psychiatric unit are explored through use of self-report data and standardized instruments. The results indicated that a substantial percentage of adolescents hospitalized with a primary psychiatric diagnosis also had co-existing substance abuse problems. A program specifically designed to address such problems is elaborated.
