Depuis l'introduction des traitements à la méthadone en 1987, environ un tiers des toxicomanes intraveineux l'ont utilisée. Cette thérapie est une chance d'amélioration de leur santé et de réinsertion sociale, et aussi un moyen précieux de réduire la propagation du VIH.
ENGLISH :
Since the introduction of Methadone maintenance therapy in 1987 about one third of the intravenous drug addicts have made use of it. Helping them on a broad basis in health and social rehabilitation this kind of therapy is a real chance. This special treatment is also a very helpful mean of reducing the risk of acquired immunodeficiency syndrom. (Author's abstract)
