A partir du cas d'un patient hospitalisé pour des symptômes psychiatriques, usager chronique de bromocriptine et ayant des antécédents toxicomaniaques, les auteurs débattent des possibilités d'induction d'une dépendance à la bromocriptine chez les sujets présentant une atteinte psychiatrique, une dépendance chimique ou un risque de développer des troubles psychiatriques.
ENGLISH:
Report of the first case of a patient who has abused bromocriptine : the patient first developed psychiatric symptoms while using bromocriptine, at least partially remitted after cessation of bromocriptine. Although this case has an unusual psychiatric, social and substance abuse history, the authors suggest that caution be maintened, especially in chemically dependant, psychiatrically impaired, and psychiatrically at risk populations.
