60 résidents d'un programme de désintoxication / motivation pour toxicomanes ont été interrogés juste après leur désintoxication et à nouveau 5 semaines plus tard. A la fin du programme, il y avait des changements positifs significatifs dans tous les scores sauf pour l'hostilité à l'égard d'autrui. L'irritabilité exprimée juste après la désintoxication restait à un niveau élevé dans les semaines suivantes. Cela suggère la nécessité d'inclure des interventions spécifiques de la gestion de l'irritabilité, dans les programmes de traitement anti-drogue.
ENGLISH :
Residents in a detoxification / motivation program for drug users provided speech samples just after detoxification and again 5 weeks later. At the end of the program there were significant positive changes in all scores except those for Hostility Outward and Pawn. Of particular interest was the anger expressed just after detoxification and maintained at a significantly high level during the following weeks. This suggests a need for drug-treatment programs to include specific anger-management interventions. (Extract from author's abstract)
