La ville de Florence sert ici d'exemple pour montrer comment, en Italie, les AA sont entrés dans le système de santé officiel. Puis, nous retraçons l'évolution des relations réciproques entre le système de traitement traditionnel et l'entraide. Pour conclure, nous décrivons la situation actuelle caractérisée par une collaboration fructueuse entre l'aide professionnelle et l'entraide.

How has the AA managed to find its way into the public health system in Italy ? Using Florence as an example, this paper explores the evolution of the reciprocal relationship which has emerged between the traditional treatment system and self-help groups. this paper ends with a description of the current situation in the growing collaboration between professional help and self-help.(Author's abstract)
