Disgression méthodologique sur l'estimation de la consommation dans une population toxicomane au moyen d'un estimateur M approprié dans l'étude statistique de diverses variables.
ENGLISH :
Considering that generally the consume variables have asymetric distributions, then the arithmetic mean is a bad descriptor. This paper introduce the M-estimators of location methodology as an appropriate descriptive statistic for this type of variables. After showing the weighting schemes by Tukey, Huber, Andrews and Hampel's estimators, it follows a resolved numerical example of the Hampel's M-estimator. (Author's abstract)
