La surconsommation de substance psychotrope est un problème important au sein de la population homosexuelle. Plusieurs facteurs peuvent expliquer ce phénomène. Certaines substances sont consommées plus spécifiquement par cette population.

The abuse of psychotropic substances is an important problem in the homosexual community. Many factors can explain this phenomena. Some substances are taken more specifically by this population. The effects of these drugs and their physical consequences are explained in this text. The doctor plays an important role in the screening, the diagnosis and the treatment of people presenting a problem of substance abuse.
