Le toxicomane séropositif soit intègre sa maladie dans l'addiction, soit l'en différencie. Ceci intéresse une problématique globale d'incorporation psychique (cf Abraham et Torok) plus ou moins réversible. Cette problématique interagit avec le système de défense immunitaire. Donc : d'une part travailler la problématique du toxicomane pourrait améliorer sa résistance au VIH; d'autre part, une prévention et un traitement efficaces du Sida passent par un travail psychique sur la problématique fondant l'addiction. ENGLISH :
The HIV positive drug addict either integrates his illness into his addiction or differentiates them. This concerns the global problematic of the psychological insertion (cf Abraham and Torok) which is more or less reversible. This problematic interacts with the imune system. Thus, on the one hand, working on the drug addict problematic could enhance his resistance to the HIV virus; on the other hand, efficient prevention and treatment of Aids go through the psychological work on the problematic founding the addiction.
