Des exemples tirés de l'expérience clinique de l'auteur, consultant et chercheur travaillant en divers endroits du pays illustrent les nombreux inconvénients du système de soins existant, pénalisant les patients et les résultats. L'auteur décrit également le système de formation des thérapeutes et conseillers, qu'il juge inadapté et insuffisant. L'accent est mis sur les altérations des modèles existants.

Examples from the author's own clinical experience as consultant and researcher working in different parts of the country are used to illustrate the numerous disadvantages of the existing care system, with clear detriment to patients and to positive treatment outcome. In addition, the inadequacy and insufficiency of the training system for therapists and counselors is described, with particular emphasis on the distortions of the already existing models (From the author's abstract)
