Des prélèvement réalisés chez des conducteurs pendant une semaine montrent que 7% de l'échantillon en 1979 et 26,8% en 1993 sont détectés positifs pour la consommation de psychotropes. Les benzodiazépines viennent en tête. 4% des personnes ont consommé des drogues illicites en 1993. Les drogues autres que l'alcool ont été trouvées six fois plus souvent que ne le pressentait la police, indiquant une augmentation de la polytoxicomanie.
ENGLISH :
Drugs classified as hazardous to traffic safety were detected in 7% of the samples in 1979 and 26,8% in 1993. Benzodiazepines were the most frequently found drugs in both years. Illegal drugs were found in 4% of the cases in 1993. Drugs other than alcohol, were found six times more often than expected by the police. The results indicate the trends of multidrug use is increasing among cases suspected of driving under the influence of alcohol/drugs. (From authors' abstract)
