Cet article décrit un projet de recherche en-cours, sur l'impact du contrôle de la drogue sur le travail de deux agences du système de justice pénale. Il illustre également les importantes distorsions existantes et démontre comment elles peuvent être neutralisées. Il conclut en donnant des observations sur les implications des phénomènes et tendances décrits pour la criminologie.
ENGLISH :
The first substantive section describes an on-going simulation research project into the impact of drug-control related pressures on the working of two agencies of the criminal justice system, and illustrates how serious the distortions are, and how they might be countered. The second substantive section provides an overview of how those responsible for drug control strategies are attempting to avoid having to invoke the agencies of the criminal justice system, partly so as to minimize the negative effects noted in the first section. The article concludes with some observations on the implications of the trends and phenomena described for criminological theory. (From authors'abstract).
