ENGLISH :
Delta 8-Tetrahydrocannabinol p-quinone (delta 8-THCPQ) was identified as an air oxydation product of delta 8-THC, and its biological and pharmacological properties were compared with those of delta 8-THC. Delta 8-THCPQ significantly inhibited the activities of microsomal aminopyrine N-demethylase and microsomal aldehyde oxygenase, in a concentration-dependent manner. Thus, the effects of the quinone were lesser extent that those of Delta 8-THC, and also suggests that the quinone derivatives may possess toxicological effects in the case of long intake of marihuana.
