La seule évocation mentale du champ lexical propre au toxicomane suffit à faire resurgir des images du passé de la drogue, des représentations de la recherche de drogue, du syndrome de sevrage. La résolution des problèmes est alors fortement dictée par ce langage spécifique.
ENGLISH :
The code switching processes in language behavior of drug addicts during problem solving operations were observed. Under the condition of a distinct occupation of the associative networks of concepts by argot specific meanings the process of code switching becomes more probable. The consequence of these processes is that drug addicts solve craving problems in a way which is prescribed by the meanings of drug argot words. (Authors' abstract)
