L'informatisation des services de santé a déjà été comparée dans plusieurs études, quant à son acceptation par les patients, sa fiabilité, sa validité. Il semble actuellement ici, que le degré d'acceptation soit tout à fait satisfaisant. Les avantages de la méthode sont discutés.

The use of computer technology is not new in the delivery of health services. This study provides evidence for the appropriateness of using computers in community-based drug and alcohol clinical settings, reporting a high level of computer acceptability among clients. The advantage of utilising computers in clinical settings, for researchers and clinicians are discussed. (From authors' abstract)
