Des médecins allemands, accrédités par les caisses de maladie pour prescrire des traitements de substitution ont reçus des questionnaires destinés à analyser leur pratique. 937 médecins ont répondu. 59% des patients sous méthadone bénéficient de mesures d'accompagnement psycho-sociales alors que 25% des patients sous codéïne sont dans ce cas. Les médecins prescripteurs de méthadone ont une attitude plus favorable envers les services sociaux et assurent une meilleure coordination.
ENGLISH :
Physicians accredited to the German Social Health Insurance and authorized to give substitute treatment were asked the kind of therapy applied, the attitude to psychosocial care of substituted patients and the extent to which patients are cared for. 937 physicians returned questionnaires. High rates of methadone-patients using some measure of psychosocial care can be found in 59% of physicians'practices, which give this kind of substitute. Only 25% of patients substituted with codeine have a good psychosocial rate of care. (From author's abstract)
