À travers le cas de Dany, nous voulons apporter notre contribution à l'étude du temps chez l'alcoolique, notamment en ce qui concerne son vécu du temps avant et pendant son hospitalisation, et comment il entend vivre le temps après son hospitalisation. Les entretiens et l'observation qui ont sous-tendu cette réflexion révèlent que Dany a vécu successivement, avant son hospitalisation, un temps doré, un temps alcoolique, un temps conflictuel et, pendant son hospitalisation, un temps ennuyeux ; quant au temps après son hospitalisation, il est incertain ou sans projet. Seule une abstinence totale durable fondée sur un soutien psychologique adapté peut aider Dany à mettre ce temps à profit. (Résumé d'auteur)

By reporting the case of Dany, the authors want to provide a contribution to the study of time in alcoholics, especially in terms of their perception of time before and during hospitalisation and how they intend to deal with time after discharge from hospital. The interviews and observation constituting the basis for this report show that Dany successively experienced, before his hospitalisation, a "golden age", an alcoholic phase, and a conflictual phase and, during his hospitalisation, a boring phase; he is uncertain about his time after discharge from hospital and has no plans. Only lasting total abstinence based on adapted psychological support can help Dany make the most of his time. (Author' s abstract)
