Résumé :
ENGLISH :
In the following journal feature, we first reproduce the Executive Summary from a recent IJS National Research Council report : "informing America's policy on illegal drugs : what we don't know keeps hurting us". This report seeks to outline what a national drugs policy informed by science and reason might look like. Although American in origin, we believe that this thoughtful statement is likely to be of wide international interest. The summary is followed by seven invited commentaries and a tailpiece from three of the original contributors to the report. (From the editor' s abstract)
