Depuis une dizaine d'années, de nombreuses publications traduisent l'intérêt des psychologues, psychiatres et « psychopathologues » pour la relation aux ordinateurs et pour l'univers du cyber-espace. Les travaux ressortent de deux grandes catégories, la première étudie l'interface homme-machine, la seconde porte sur l'usage du cyber-monde, monde nouveau avec ses contacts inconnus, ses virus, ses délinquants les hackers parfois contaminateurs, ses potentialités. Et si addiction il y a,... on trouve sur internet le traitement possible de cette pathologie nouvelle. (Résumé de la revue)

Dependence on the internet: a new addiction? For the past ten years or so, numerous publications have reflected the interest displayed by psychologists, psychiatrists and "psychopathologists" in the relationship with computers and with the cyberspace universe. These works can be divided into two main categories. The first studies the human-machine interface while the second concentrates on the cyberworld, a new world with unknown contacts, viruses, delinquents - hackers, sometimes contaminators - and potential. This new addiction even has a possible form of treatment via... the internet!

Dependence on the internet: a new addiction? For the past ten years or so, numerous publications have reflected the interest displayed by psychologists, psychiatrists and "psychopathologists" in the relationship with computers and with the cyberspace universe.
