Jouer à quitte ou double. Ne pas pouvoir s'arrêter après avoir gagné. Rejouer et perdre. Encore. Jusgu'à perdre tous ses biens. Se perdre, aussi. En guise de « thérapie », jouer, toujours, mais alors jouer à se faire interdire ? De la bouche des joueurs compulsifs, revient de manière incantatoire au sortir d'une soirée au casino l'affirmation péremptoire d'une décision : « Demain, le mois prochain, je me fais interdire. » Une issue, la seule, serait ainsi de se faire volontairement exclure de ces « lieux de perdition ». Se faire «arrêter », pour ce qui concerne le toxicomane, par l'application de la loi pénale. « Se faire interdire », s'agissant du joueur pathologique, par le truchement d'une mesure administrative entamée à son initiative. Un dispositif un peu lent à se déployer, avec la promotion, à l'arraché, d'un tiers réflexif, interdicteur. Un tiers dans la réalité à défaut d'efficacité symbolique permettant de s'affranchir. When coming out from a casino, the same peremptory a ffirmation comes out, incantatory, decisive: « tomorrow, next month, I will ask for being laid under an interdict ». The way-out, the only one, would be to get, voluntarily, excluded from these « dens of vice ». Like a drug addict who gets himself arrested thanks to the enforcement of the law. Asking for being interdicted through an administrative measure against oneself. A purview that is a bit slow to develop, with the snatched promotion of a third body that thinks and prohibits.
